Join Techstudio Services as a CAD Detailer in our Engineering/Design Department, where you will play a crucial role in our construction and engineering projects. This position demands precision, technical expertise, and a thorough understanding of civil engineering principles, with a focus on formwork and shoring systems across various CAD platforms including AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Interpreting Complex Designs:

  Transform structural and architectural drawings into detailed, functional drafts across multiple CAD platforms, emphasizing the intricacies of formwork and shoring design to enhance construction project safety and efficiency. 

• Ensuring Structural Integrity:

  Ensure all designs adhere to critical civil engineering principles, particularly in load calculations, across various CAD tools to maintain structural integrity. 

• Adaptability to International Standards:

  Encounter and adapt to a range of global standards and construction practices, essential for outsourced international projects. 

• Team Contribution and Problem-Solving:

  Engage in collective problem-solving and contribute to the success of projects as part of a dynamic team. 

• Professional Development:

  Stay at the forefront of civil engineering and drafting technology, with opportunities for growth and innovation. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed drawings for formwork & shoring systems using various CAD tools based on client specifications. 
• Interpret structural & architectural drawings from a global client base. 
• Ensure drafting designs comply with both local & international building codes. 
• Collaborate remotely with international teams. 
• Adapt to diverse construction methodologies and standards. 
• Update and revise drawings based on client feedback. 
• Maintain thorough documentation of all drafts and final drawings. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. 
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and other CAD software. 
• Good command over English for effective communication. 
• College interns are welcome to apply for the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience or internships in civil detailing or drafting. 

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong communication skills for interacting with international clients and teams. 
• Ability to manage tasks for multiple projects in a dynamic environment. 
• Quick learner, adaptable to different construction practices. 
• Proficient in remote collaboration tools. 

Working Hours:

Standard working hours with the requirement to provide 4 hours of overlap with the client's time zone for collaboration and support. 

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

Office-based role with potential for remote work as required. Flexible working hours to ensure effective collaboration across different time zones.
