Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the structural analysis, design, and certification of signage structures. You will ensure that all projects are safe, durable, and compliant with all relevant local, state, and national building codes and wind load requirements. Your expertise will be critical from the conceptual design phase through to fabrication and installation, providing technical support to our design, fabrication, and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities

Structural Design & Analysis:

• Perform structural analysis and design for a wide variety of signage structures, including freestanding monopoles, pylons, building-mounted frames, and overhead sign bridges.
• Calculate dead loads, live loads, and environmental loads (primarily wind and seismic loads) in accordance with relevant codes (IBC, AISC, ASCE 7).
• Create and review detailed design calculations, structural drawings, and fabrication sketches using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Select appropriate materials (steel, aluminum, concrete) and specify foundations based on soil reports and site conditions.

Technical Documentation & Compliance:

• Prepare, stamp, and seal professional engineering (PE) certification packages for submission to permitting authorities.
• Develop and maintain a library of standard calculation templates and detail drawings to improve efficiency.
• Review architectural and site drawings to assess feasibility and identify potential structural conflicts.
• Ensure all designs adhere to ADA, AASHTO (for highway signage), and other applicable regulations.

Project Support & Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Design, Sales, and Project Management teams during the proposal and design phases to provide feasible, cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to the fabrication workshop and installation crews, addressing any on-site engineering queries.
• Conduct occasional site visits to survey existing conditions, monitor installation, and verify that work is being carried out per the engineered design.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any structural issues that arise during fabrication or installation.

Quality Assurance & Safety:

• Conduct peer reviews of colleagues' calculations and drawings.
• Uphold and promote a culture of safety in all designs, ensuring the safety of the public, our clients, and our installation teams.
• Participate in risk assessment and design review meetings.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
