We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor in KIIFB-funded building projects to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost management, financial reporting of government building works. A deep understanding of KIIFB procedures, PWD rates, DSR specifications, and documentation standards is essential. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed estimates, BOQs, and abstracts based on KIIFB-approved drawings and specifications. Analyze drawings, technical specifications, and site conditions to identify project scope and financial implications. Handle tendering, rate analysis, and quotation comparisons in line with KIIFB and CPWD norms. Maintain strict cost control and monitor expenditures against budgets. Prepare and process interim bills, MBs, and RA bills as per KIIFB guidelines. Coordinate with consultant engineers, site teams, and client representatives for approvals and clarifications. Handle variations, extra items, and deviation statements as per standard procedures. Ensure proper documentation for KIIFB audits, work inspections, and site handovers. Prepare cash flow statements, work progress reports, and final bills. Attend project review meetings and provide input on financial planning and risks. ⸻ Key Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 3 years of experience, with at least 2 years in KIIFB or government-funded building projects. Familiarity with PWD/CPWD schedule of rates, SOR updates, and DSR norms. Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, quantity takeoff software, and billing software . Deep understanding of KIIFB billing formats, online monitoring tools, and documentation protocols. Strong interpersonal and reporting skills. Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and meet strict deadlines. ⸻ Preferred: Experience in KIIFB-funded education buildings, hospital buildings, or public infrastructure. Exposure to technical audits, site inspections, and e-Governance project monitoring tools.
