Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil 3D Engineer to develop high-quality civil design models and drawings for infrastructure, land development, utilities, and site-grading projects. The ideal candidate is hands-on with Autodesk Civil 3D and can independently deliver end-to-end design packages to timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage Civil 3D models: surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, grading, and assemblies/sub-assemblies.
• Prepare plan & profile sheets, cross-sections, typical sections, and construction drawings with correct annotations.
• Develop pipe/pressure networks (stormwater, sewer, water supply) including structures, parts lists, and hydraulic inputs provided by designers.
• Perform quantity take-offs (QTOs) and BOQs from models and drawings.
• Set up and manage data shortcuts, drawing standards, and sheet set management for multi-disciplinary workflows.
• Conduct clash checks/coordination with architectural, structural, and MEP teams (Navisworks experience is a plus).
• Support tender drawings, as-built updates, and respond to RFI/consultant queries.
• Adhere to internal QA/QC checklists, file naming, layering, and CAD/BIM standards.
• Participate in client/consultant meetings; undertake site recon/verification as required.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D (latest versions): surfaces, corridors, grading, pipe/pressure networks, sheet production.
• Excellent AutoCAD drafting fundamentals (layers, xrefs, blocks, annotation scales).
• Understanding of earthwork/volumes, road geometry, and basic utility layouts.
• Clear communication, documentation, and time management skills.

Good-to-Have (Preferred)

• Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, InfraWorks, Navisworks (clash/4D view), QGIS/Global Mapper for base data.
• Exposure to IS/IRC/ISRO standards and local authority submission requirements.
• Experience on township/industrial park/roads & highways/commercial/industrial developments.

Eligibility

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory).

3–5 years of relevant, hands-on Civil 3D experience (mandatory).
