Citykart - Python Automation Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts to improve efficiency across business processes.
• Automate repetitive tasks including data extraction, data cleaning, reporting, and workflow optimization.
• Build and manage web scraping tools to collect data from various online sources.
• Work on API integrations to enable seamless data flow between internal systems and third-party platforms.
• Create and automate reports using Excel, PDF, and custom templates.
• Utilize Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, OpenPyXL, PyPDF, Requests, and BeautifulSoup/Scrapy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, MIS, IT, and Business Analytics to identify automation opportunities.
• Debug, optimize, and maintain existing automation scripts for performance and reliability.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within all automated workflows.
• Document processes, scripts, and technical workflows for future reference and scalability.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python automation.
• Strong command of Python and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, OpenPyXL, PyPDF, Requests, BeautifulSoup/Scrapy.
• Proven experience in web scraping, API consumption, and automated reporting.
• Experience working with Excel automation, PDF parsing, and data transformation.
• Good understanding of data structures, file handling, and basic SQL queries.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn manual processes into automated solutions.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
