Job Description
The Specialist I has knowledge within designated Information Technology (IT) area of responsibility that is applied to diverse assignments. This position may collaborate with customers, vendors, and management to drive results. This role supports IT compliance initiatives. This position may guide and share knowledge with other IT staff.
- Maintain audit report database for the Third-Party Risk Management Process
- Verify compliance requirements and ensure audit reports are provided each year as contractually obligated. Review audit reports for issues and track attestations
- Coordinate the IT Practice & Policy process including databases and repositories. Verify adherence to the annual practice review process
- Responsible for the tracking and review of attestations in support of IT Risk Management
- Support administrative functions of the application and services onboarding processes
- Assist with project setups and organization of the IT Risk Management process mailbox
- Participate with cross-functional team members in issue identification and risk identification discussions
- Monitor processes and required documentation for the timely coordination and completion of routine and scheduled tasks in a way that meets or exceeds compliance requirements
- Advanced skills with common office tools including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), SharePoint, and Teams.
Basic Job Requirements
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and five (5) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to nine (9) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
Accredited degree or global equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline
Experience in computer systems or Information Technology (IT) support, with technical proficiency in operating systems and programming languages
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical, technical, planning, and organizational skills
