JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE Circle Manager Report to Zonal Head No of Direct reportees 5-7 Department Retail Sales Position Grade Range Manager/Senior Manager (May vary based on experience) JOB PU JOB PURPOJOB PURPOSE: • The Channel Manager is responsible for driving revenue generation through assigned distributors and IFA channels, ensuring maximum market share for Axis Mutual Fund schemes. The role focuses on building, developing, and enhancing relationships with channel partners to achieve business targets and expand market presence. The incumbent will also ensure continuous training, updates, and support for distributors while staying abreast of product and market developments JOB ROLE: • Maximize market share and drive sales through the assigned set of distributors and IFAs. • Advise distributors on suitable products as per the customer/investor requirements. • Ensure consistent revenue generation by strengthening relationships with distributors. • Regularly update distributors on new products, market trends, and relevant business opportunities. • Provide exceptional servicing to distributors, ensuring their needs are met promptly, including product updates, query resolution, and follow-ups. • Build long-term, sustainable relationships with key distributors to ensure repeat business and foster loyalty. • Collaborate with more experienced sales representatives to close sales when necessary. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all assigned distributors. • Organize events, conferences, and product sessions for distributors to ensure top-of-mind awareness and engagement. • Ensure distributors receive regular training on products and operational procedures to enhance their performance. • Identify competencies within the team and guide them to achieve sales and market share targets. • Regularly circulate MIS reports on sales, market share, and performance to ensure timely and effective communication both internally and externally. • Provide feedback and conduct review sessions to continuously improve market share and business growth. • Identify opportunities for tie-ups with existing distributors and lead local or pan-India drives to generate new business. • Regularly monitor and provide timely communication and updates to channel partners to maximize revenue. • Keep up to date with competitor activities and market trends, adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE • Postgraduate or Graduate with 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role. • NISM certification is mandatory. • Strong understanding of debt/equity, mutual funds, and the regulatory environment. • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills. • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving business growth. • Ability to work independently, with a strong focus on achieving results and meeting deadlines. • Diligence and a willingness to travel locally and outstation as required PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES • Strong business acumen with a results-driven mindset. • Good knowledge of the mutual fund regulatory environment and products. • Ability to develop strong, lasting relationships with distributors and key stakeholders. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and customer needs.
