Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chiller & Heat Pump Design Engineer / Manager with 1–5 years of experience to join our Design and R&D team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing energy-efficient HVAC products, with a specific focus on chillers and heat pumps . You will contribute to the design, component selection, system integration, and testing of HVAC systems compliant with international and domestic standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design and development of HVAC chillers and heat pumps (air-cooled, water-cooled, and low-temperature applications). Configure and design chiller packages, including scroll and screw-based heat pumps . Select and size components such as compressors, heat exchangers (Shell & Tube), valves, etc. Perform thermal and mechanical analysis using simulation and design tools. Support prototype building, testing, and troubleshooting. Ensure product designs comply with AHRI, BEE, ASHRAE, ASME, and NABL standards. Support the qualification and certification of products, including documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing. Benchmark competitive products and contribute to continuous improvement in cost and energy efficiency. Stay current with technological advancements and industry trends . Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field. 1–5 years of experience in HVAC equipment design and development. Strong understanding of HVAC systems and their application across different domains. Knowledge of product standards, certifications, and compliance requirements . Hands-on experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools ( ANSYS, EES, or similar ). Familiarity with AHRI certification process and test procedures. Basic understanding of Lean or Agile product development methodologies . Good communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills. Show more Show less
