Sr. Estimation Engineer- Electrical

JOB DESCRIPTION ROLE: - Sr. Engineer – Estimation is responsible accurately estimate the cost, time, materials, labor, and equipment required for a specific project. They perform cost analyses, determine the duration of a project and ensure that resources are managed and deadlines are met. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Analysis of relevant tender documents Evaluating tender-related documents, designs, drawings, and schedules. Liaising with Suppliers / Manufacturers. Conducting comparison studies based on the supplier’s quotations. Engagement with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of the product. Based on the client’s budget constraints for any specific project, carrying out value engineering studies. Maintaining all certifications, documentation, and records in relation to the projects. Pricing of tender/BOQ with respect to defined profits. Reviewing and recording the existing revenue estimates of the company, tallying the records with previous estimates with current results, considering the difference in current estimation analysis for accurate results, etc. Making Pre-Qualification documents, both standards as well project specific questionnaires. Develop and maintain intelligence regarding trends in the cost of services, materials, and commodities in the various regions in which the company operates. Create and maintain project tracking tools and reports for senior management Qualifications and Education Requirements: - Engineering Degree with 4 to 10 years of experience in Estimation. Preferred Skills: - He should have basic English language skills, oral and written, at a proficient level. Use his interpersonal skills to communicate with individuals at all levels internally and externally. Show computer proficiency related to MS Office (Excel) & software (SAP, Salesforce) programs as required to accomplish his responsibilities. Ability to coordinate with suppliers and clients.
