Chief Operating Officer - Rubber Process - Chennai

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee operations of divisions and to run it profitably in meeting the Management Goals. Execute the Org Strategy of Management into Business Strategy of The Division Without Deviation
• The position holder will deliver in running the operations profitably and be accountable for the P&L.
• The position holder will be managing the departments - Purchases, Production, Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, Stores, Plant A&F, R&D, CRM, and coordinate in delivering the product to the end customer on time every time with the right quality.
• Implement the Business Strategy into action.
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
• Stay abreast of market trends, competitor, and industry developments. Utilize market intelligence to make informed decisions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence.
• Direct the production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to optimize manufacturing processes and meet customer specifications.
• Develop and manage the budget for ensuring financial goals are met and profitability is enhanced.
• Work with the CFO to develop cash flow projection and reporting mechanism.
• Strategic approach to the contracts, negotiations, or business deals the company enters.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications.
• Develop and implement performance metrics of Key Business Departments
• Build and lead a high-performance team by recruiting, training, and developing talent.

Preferred candidate profile

Ideal Candidate

• BE / ME in rubber Technology with 10-15 years experience in Recycling Tyre Industry
• Should have experience holding major responsibility including P&L
• Should have experience managing the various department of the organisation
• Should have experience in Budgeting and management
• Should have a flair for identifying new initiatives thereby adding to the Revenue of the organization
• Should be willing to take additional responsibility as an when needed
• Should be well versed in Tamil, Hindi, English
• Should be willing to work out of Chennai Location
• Should be a go getter
