Position Title

Chief Manager - Legal

Position Demands

  • Legal and industry background (7-10 years of relevant experience)
  • Bachelors degree in law
  • Hands-on experience in the power sector
  • Knowledge of substantive contractual, business, commercial, and property laws

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Contract Drafting and Review (Drafting, reviewing, and vetting a wide range of contracts including):
    • Supply and service contracts
    • EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) agreements
    • O&M (Operations & Maintenance) agreements
    • Tender and bidding documents
    • HR & admin-related service contracts
    • Transmission and utility contracts
    • International contracts, NDAs, MOUs, standard T&Cs, etc.
    • Financing contracts
  • Legal Opinions
  • Land and Title Due Diligence
  • Bid Review and Support
  • Negotiation and Finalization
  • Litigation
