Chief Information Security Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Define and execute the organizations cyber security and information security strategy.
• Ensure compliance with

  RBI cyber security guidelines, CERT-In directions, IT Act

  , and other regulatory requirements.
• Act as the primary interface with

  RBI, regulators, auditors, and external assessors

  .
• Lead security operations, incident response, and regulatory reporting for major cyber incidents.
• Drive enterprise-wide cyber risk management, VAPT, and third-party risk programs.
• Oversee security architecture for applications, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and payment systems.
• Build and lead a high-performing information security team and manage the security budget.

Preferred candidate profile

• 15+ years in information security/cyber risk, with 3-5 years in a

  CISO or senior leadership role

  .
• Strong experience in

  fintech, payments, banking, or regulated financial services

  .
• Deep understanding of

  RBI regulations, payment security, cloud & application security

  .
• Proven expertise in incident response, regulatory audits, and Board-level communication.
  

Qualifications & Certifications :

• Bachelors degree in Engineering / Computer Science / IT.
• Certifications such as

  CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001

  preferred.

• PCI DSS

  knowledge/certification is a plus.
