Job Description

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for our company, you will play a crucial role in leading the finance function across a diversified group of companies under single ownership. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing financial strategy, governance, compliance, project finance, and reporting for various business verticals such as EPC, construction, and consultancy. We are seeking a strategic and experienced professional with a minimum of 10+ years of experience, preferably in sectors like EPC/Infrastructure/Consultancy or PPP Projects. You will report directly to the Director/CEO and be responsible for the following key areas: Group Financial Oversight: - Manage end-to-end financial operations for multiple group companies. - Consolidate financial reporting across all business units while maintaining separate yet synchronized books of accounts for each entity. - Establish uniform systems, processes, and reporting formats across all companies. Strategic Financial Management: - Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with group objectives. - Provide financial insights on investments, project evaluations, and risk assessments. - Offer financial guidance on group-level expansions, joint ventures, and asset restructuring. Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis: - Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for all group companies. - Conduct financial modeling, scenario planning, and profitability analysis. - Monitor cost centers and project-wise performance within construction and consultancy segments. Project Finance & Fund Management: - Efficiently allocate funds and manage working capital across all entities. - Maintain relationships with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions for loans and other financial instruments. - Plan and oversee funding requirements for EPC and consultancy projects. Compliance, Audit & Governance: - Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory frameworks across each company. - Coordinate internal and external audits for all group entities. - Establish robust governance practices and internal control mechanisms. Financial Reporting & MIS: - Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. - Present consolidated financial health reports to the Board and top management. - Implement ERP/MIS systems for real-time data visibility across group companies. Leadership & Team Building: - Lead and mentor finance teams across group entities. - Ensure consistency in accounting policies and practices. - Foster collaboration with HR, Projects, Procurement, and Admin teams. Preferred Background: - Strong experience in EPC, construction, or project-based consultancy companies with a preference for PPP project structuring. Your success in this role will be measured against key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics related to financial strategy, budgeting, cash flow, cost control, compliance, fund management, financial reporting, project financial health, stakeholder communication, and team leadership.
