Chief Financial Officer

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and execute long-term financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Act as a strategic advisor to the Board and leadership team on financial performance and growth initiatives.
  

Capital Raising & Investor Relations

• Lead fundraising activities including PE, VC, bank financing, debt raising, and IPO readiness.
• Represent Mavrix with Indian and global financial institutions, investors, and regulators (BSE, NSE).
• Manage capital structure, treasury operations, foreign exchange, and multi-country tax strategies.
  

Financial Planning, Reporting & Risk

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and advanced financial analysis.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and adherence to accounting standards and tax laws (India & overseas).
• Identify and manage financial risks through robust control frameworks.
  

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Optimize cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support operations and investments.
• Lead treasury, debt management, and FX exposure strategies.
  

M&A & Investment Evaluation

• Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, and investment opportunities through due diligence and financial modeling.
• Recommend capital allocation and resource optimization strategies.
  

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Build and lead a high-performing global finance team.
• Maintain strong relationships with auditors, legal advisors, banks, investors, and regulators.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• CA with Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of senior finance leadership experience, preferably in a multinational or high-growth environment.
• Big 4 audit experience preferred.
• Proven track record in bank financing, debt raising, PE/VC funding, and IPO processes.
• Strong expertise in financial strategy, compliance, capital markets, and multi-country operations.
