Chief Executive Officer

Our client is a deep-tech startup company, incubated at IISC, Bengaluru, looking for a CEO. The startup has already attracted VC investment of about 2 million USD. We deal with hardware products in the security and health sector, based on the founder Professors Research.

The CEO is expected to have both National and International exposure with a minimum of 15 years experience. The one who has a vision to take the start-up company to be a unicorn in India

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop, refine, and implement the companys vision, mission, and long-term business strategy, define business paths and generate sales.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effective management of resources.
• Financial Management: Drive profitability by setting performance targets, monitoring budgets, and ensuring sound fiscal practices.
• Team Development: Build, inspire, and lead an effective executive team; foster an inclusive and high-performance culture.
• Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary spokesperson with investors, partners, customers, and regulatory agencies; nurture relationships to advance company interests.
• Innovation and Growth: Identify new market opportunities, spearhead product development, and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
• Risk Management: Assess potential risks and devise strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Sustainability and Ethics: Advocate for responsible manufacturing practices, environmental stewardship, and ethical business conduct.

Requirements

• Passionate about technology and the inclination to build disruptive products
• Proven experience in a senior executive role within the hardware manufacturing sector
• Strong track record of driving operational improvements and business growth
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strategic thinker with a global business perspective
• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
