Job Title: Financial Accountant (with Administrative Support Experience) Location: Salem Yarn Coloring Park, Jagir Ammapalayam, Salem District, Tamil Nadu Reporting To: General Manager / Executive Director Employment Type: Full-time Position Overview: Salem Yarn Coloring Park Pvt Ltd (SYCP), a textile industry initiative supported by the Government of Tamil Nadu and SIPCOT, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Accountant with working knowledge of administrative functions . The ideal candidate should have strong experience in accounting, statutory compliance, and office coordination to support the smooth financial and operational functioning of the park. Key Responsibilities:Financial & Accounting Duties: Maintain books of accounts in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (Tally or similar software). Manage day-to-day financial transactions including bank reconciliation, journal entries, vouchers, etc. Prepare financial statements in association with Park's Auditor for Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, etc. Ensure compliance with TDS, GST, Income Tax, ROC filings, and other statutory returns. Coordinate with Park's auditors for annual and interim audits. Monitor payables, receivables, and ensure timely vendor payments. Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and financial planning. Administrative Support Duties: Support the team in documentation, drafting letters, maintaining project files, and internal records. Liaison with government departments, banks, and consultants for project-related follow-ups. Maintain and coordinate schedules, meeting logistics, and travel arrangements if required. Handle procurement of office supplies and maintain petty cash records. Coordinate with project contractors and vendors for invoice and payment reconciliation. Required Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (M.Com or CA-Inter preferred). 5-10 years of proven experience in accounting and finance roles. Knowledge of GST, TDS, ROC, and other statutory compliance frameworks. Hands-on experience in Tally ERP , MS Excel, and other relevant accounting tools. Exposure to general office administration or support roles. Key Competencies: High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication in English and Tamil. Ability to manage time and multitask effectively. Ethical, reliable, and capable of working with minimal supervision. Experience in working in an industrial park or infrastructure development company is an added advantage. Salary & Benefits: Commensurate with experience and industry standards.
