Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Engineer. The Chief Engineer will oversee the maintenance and operation of all engineering facilities within the company. Duties include developing and implementing maintenance policies, managing maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections, and liaising with contractors and vendors. The Chief Engineer will also be responsible for budgeting maintenance expenses and ensuring timely repairs and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance management and engineering operations
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements
• Skills in budgeting and cost management
• Proficiency in project management and team leadership
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
• Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
