Job Description

Role Overview: The Corporate and Investment Bank Chief Data Office is focused on establishing a top-tier data management strategy across the firm. As a Data Management Associate Sr. within the Corporate and Investment Bank Chief Data Office Privacy, Protection & Storage team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of data localization governance frameworks and policies. This role will require collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and provide insights to senior leadership through monthly management reports. Your role will also involve driving and participating in projects related to data governance controls and collaborating with multiple sub-lines of business and Corporate Functions to support data storage and localization objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development and implementation of data localisation governance frameworks and policies. - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Controls, Regional CDOs, LOB/CF Business CDOs, Technology partners. - Oversee access management processes to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. - Prepare monthly management reports and provide insights to senior leadership. - Drive and participate in projects related to data governance controls. - Collaborate with multiple sub-lines of business and Corporate Functions to support data storage and localization objectives. Qualification Required: - 7+ years of experience in Financial Services with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to data storage and localization. - Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business, technology, and control functions. - Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships. - Ability to coordinate issues, findings, and practices with colleagues across regions and/or divisions. - Ability to work independently and prioritize all work assignments effectively to ensure timely completion. - Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on the audience. - Investigative mindset, strong analytical, problem-solving, and process re-engineering skills, and experience using data mining tools. - Excellent Excel and SharePoint skills. Note: People management experience is preferable.,
