We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant (Male). This is an immediate vacancy and hence inviting applications from candidates who can join us on short notice.

Job Summary:

The Chief Accountant is responsible for managing accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, and providing guidance to junior accounting staff. The Chief Accountant will oversee the preparation of financial statements, maintain internal controls, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.

· Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

· Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.

· Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

· Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies; with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

· Support internal and external audits, including preparing audit schedules and documentation.

· Assist in the development and management of the company’s annual budget and financial forecasts.

· Streamline and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

· Provide guidance and support to staff and junior accountant.

· Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

· Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute the company’s strategic plan.

Qualification, Key Skills and Competencies:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.

· Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a track record of success in senior accounting roles.

· Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

· Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.

· High level of integrity and ethical standards.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
