Chief Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to lead and manage our finance and accounting operations remotely. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Odoo ERP (Accounting & Finance modules), advanced knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to supervise and guide a finance team. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide strategic financial insights to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, tax compliance, and payroll.
• Manage and supervise the finance team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in day-to-day operations.
• Implement and optimize Odoo Accounting workflows, ensuring accurate financial reporting and smooth system usage.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
• Conduct financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and ensure proper treasury management.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory filings.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders.
• Provide strategic recommendations to management on financial performance and growth opportunities.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
