Job Description

As a Sales Manager in the Chemical Division of a company based in Pune, Maharashtra, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and establishing long-term relationships with key clients in various industries including water treatment, agro-processing, sugar, ethanol, and other process industries. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and Pursue Opportunities: - Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting industries such as water treatment, agro-processing, sugar, ethanol, and other process industries. - Prospect and secure new clients focusing on building long-term partnerships. - Sales Target Achievement: - Meet or exceed annual sales and revenue targets for the chemical product portfolio. - Drive business through both direct sales efforts and leveraging existing relationships. - Client Relationship Management: - Build Strong Client Relationships with key decision-makers. - Provide customized solutions to meet customer needs and ensure high satisfaction. - Act as a trusted advisor offering solutions for chemical applications in industrial processes. - Proposal & Tender Management: - Prepare and present detailed commercial proposals, quotations, and tender responses. - Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to close sales effectively while ensuring profitability. - Ensure timely and accurate contract execution in line with business requirements. - Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning: - Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies. - Prepare accurate sales forecasts and update senior management on market trends and business performance. - Post-Sales Support: - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction. - Follow up with clients post-sales to ensure product performance and offer ongoing technical support. Qualifications Required: - Education: - Bachelors degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field. - MBA in Sales & Marketing or related business fields is a plus. - Experience: - 5-10 years of proven experience in industrial chemical sales. - Exposure to industries such as water treatment, agro-processing, ethanol, sugar, and chemical manufacturing is highly desirable. - Skills: - Strong technical background in chemical processes and product applications. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and projects effectively.,
