Job Title: Chemical Engineer – R&D (Quartz Stone Manufacturing)

Location: Jaipur -Bagru

Department: Research & Development (R&D)

Reports To: R&D Manager / Head of Technical Division

Job Summary:

Chemical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and development for new ceramic products, including tiles, sanitaryware, technical ceramics, or advanced materials.
• Develop and optimize ceramic compositions, glazes, and pigments.
• Analyze and improve raw material characteristics, including clays, feldspars, kaolin, etc.
• Perform lab-scale trials, scale-up, and transfer processes to production.
• Evaluate thermal properties, sintering behavior, and chemical stability of ceramic formulations.
• Work closely with production, QC, and design teams to implement R&D findings.
• Maintain documentation of experimental procedures, test results, and formulations.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in Chemical Engineering

  or Ceramic Engineering.
• 0–5 years of experience in R&D within the

  ceramic, refractory, or allied industries

  .
• Strong understanding of ceramic chemistry, glaze formulation, and raw material interactions.
• Knowledge of

  thermal processes

  ,

  kiln operations

  , and

  materials testing

  .
• Experience with analytical tools (e.g., XRD, SEM, TGA, DSC) is a plus.
• Ability to interpret technical data and propose innovative solutions.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ISO or related quality systems.
