Client Consultation and Menu Planning: Conduct initial and ongoing consultations with clients to determine their dietary needs, preferences, allergies, and any other specific requirements. Develop customized meal plans and menus that align with the client's goals, including daily meals, special occasions, and dietary restrictions (e.g., gluten-free, vegan, low-carb). Present menu options to clients for feedback and approval. Adapt menus based on client feedback, seasonal ingredients, and culinary trends. Maintain a detailed record of client preferences, dietary restrictions, and favorite dishes. Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality dishes according to agreed-upon menus and recipes. Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all food items. Prepare meals in the client's home kitchen or other designated location, adhering to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Follow proper food handling, preparation, and storage procedures to ensure food safety. Coordinate meal preparation and cooking schedule to meet the client's needs and preferences. Grocery Shopping and Inventory Management: Shop for fresh, high-quality ingredients, considering the client's budget and preferences. Select the best produce, meats, seafood, and other ingredients from local markets, grocery stores, or specialty suppliers. Manage food inventory and ensure that all ingredients are stored properly to maintain freshness and quality. Monitor food costs and minimize waste through careful planning and preparation. Maintain organized records of purchases and expenses. Kitchen Maintenance and Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment at all times. Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, cookware, utensils, and equipment. Properly dispose of trash and recycling. Leave the kitchen in the same or better condition than it was found. Additional Responsibilities (vary based on client needs): Serve meals to clients and their guests. Provide instructions for reheating or finishing meals, if necessary. Assist with meal planning and preparation for special events or dinner parties. Travel with clients to prepare meals at vacation homes or other locations. Prepare meals according to specific dietary protocols (e.g., paleo, keto, specific medical diets). Qualifications: Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary institution preferred . Proven experience as a Personal Chef or Chef in a fine dining restaurant, catering company, or private household. Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, styles, and cuisines, with the ability to prepare a wide range of dishes. Excellent understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations (ServSafe certification preferred). Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Exceptional organizational, time-management, and planning skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with clients. Ability to adapt to changing schedules and client needs. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required . Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (groceries, cookware). Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
