Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef Instructor based in Panaji. The Chef Instructor will be responsible for teaching culinary arts, planning and delivering engaging curriculum, conducting practical cooking demonstrations, and supervising students' hands-on training in culinary techniques. Additional responsibilities include assessing students' progress, providing constructive feedback, maintaining kitchen equipment and safety standards, and mentoring students to prepare them for the hospitality industry.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in professional culinary techniques, food preparation, and presenting culinary creations
• Experience in lesson planning, curriculum design, and teaching in a hospitality or culinary arts setting
• Strong communication, mentoring, and coaching skills for effective student engagement
• Knowledge of food safety, kitchen sanitation standards, and efficient resource management
• Relevant certifications in culinary arts, food safety, or hospitality management
• Previous professional experience in the hospitality or food service industry preferred
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on maintaining a collaborative learning environment
