We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive qualified CA to join our team. The relevant candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting various accounting functions, as well as leading the team in the Siliguri office. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support the leadership team in driving and implementing strategic initiatives.
• Define and fix team KPIs, and regularly monitor and review performance with constructive feedback and a clear improvement roadmap.
• In coordination with the functional reporting manager, oversee the team's operational reporting.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices across all client engagements.
• Align the service delivery team with the quality and timelines committed by the sales team to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Lead tax planning and other advisory assignments, ensuring value-driven outcomes for clients.
• Allocate and supervise team tasks; review and approve deliverables to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Actively engage in prospective client meetings, support proposal development, and contribute to sales and deal closures.
• Maintain subject matter expertise in designated sectors and continuously update knowledge.
• Attend daily, weekly, and monthly departmental meetings to report task and project status updates.
• Represent the accounts department in interdepartmental meetings and collaborative sessions.
• Collaborate with the Learning & Development (L&D) team to identify skill gaps and support training initiatives.

Requirements:

• Must be CA-qualified.
• Completion of the article under a registered Chartered Accountant firm (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
• Excellent and Fluency in English (both verbal and written).
• Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Confident speaking with UK and overseas clients.
