Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for Canadian businesses
• Review and finalise bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, AP/AR, and general ledger
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per IFRS
• Prepare and review year-end working papers for audits and tax filings
• Ensure compliance with Canadian tax regulations (GST/HST, payroll, T4/T5 reporting)
• Provide technical accounting guidance and resolve complex accounting issues
• Lead and mentor junior accounting or offshore bookkeeping teams
• Collaborate effectively with Canadian clients and external stakeholders
  

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA India)
• Minimum 1 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with international or Canadian accounting exposure
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Canadian accounting standards
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, or similar accounting tools
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills
• Proficiency in Excel, including financial modelling and reconciliations
• Willingness to work evening shifts to align with Canadian time zones.
