Charted Accountant

Job Title: Chartered Accountant (CA)
Department: Accounts & Finance
Location: Silvassa
Reporting To: Senior Manager – Accounts & Finance

Job Purpose:
To handle accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting activities efficiently, ensuring accuracy and adherence to statutory requirements for the Silvassa unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial statements as per applicable accounting standards
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger
• Assist in direct and indirect tax calculations, filing returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.), and ensure timely compliance
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits; prepare audit schedules and resolve audit queries
• Monitor cash flows, handle bank transactions, and prepare regular MIS reports for management
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements applicable in Silvassa (UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu)
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities
• Liaise with consultants, vendors, and statutory bodies as required

Qualification & Experience:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified
• Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in accounting, taxation, and audits

Skills Required:

• Good knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws, and statutory compliance for Silvassa jurisdiction
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and other accounting software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills
