Job Description

As a Channel Sales Expert at ALLEN IntelliBrain, your primary responsibility will be to manage sales through a distribution network comprising Distributors, Sub-distributors, and Retailers for our innovative Educational Products. Your role will involve creating and overseeing the sales and distribution network for ALLEN Career Institute's Revolutionary Educational Products. This includes establishing and expanding the distribution base through distributors, sub-distributors, and retailers, setting sales targets, defining roles, and evaluating achievements. You will be in charge of business development through distribution sales, channel sales, or B2B sales. It will be crucial for you to track the Retail Trade market share segment-wise for individual outlets and regions, monitor SKU forecasts in alignment with budget and inventory turnover ratio, and ensure state and territory profitability by managing various liabilities. Your responsibilities will also include rationalizing, upgrading, and expanding the distribution network to enhance market discipline, increase market share, and improve brand image. You will be required to monitor competitors" activities and plans, lead, train, and develop a team of sales and commercial professionals, retail promoters, and depot staff. Maintaining decorum and adhering to the company's policies regarding reporting, attendance, market visits, and daily reports will be essential. You will also play a key role in coordinating and managing all liaison activities between the company and trade partners such as Distributors and Stockists. Educating the distributor sales force on product features and unique selling points, collaborating with sales managers to convey company objectives, and setting up sales programs with buyers using promotional opportunities will be part of your duties. Furthermore, you will be responsible for resolving product issues at the distributor level, arranging credits, replacement stock as needed, and providing feedback to Brand Managers for recurring issues. Timely settlement of distributor issues like pending schemes, discounts, and reversal of debit notes will also fall under your purview. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sales & Marketing and have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Area Sales Manager or Zonal Sales Manager in consumer goods, FMCG, stationary, toys, or educational products. Experience in building new networks, expanding reach, extensive knowledge of distribution channels, and retail channels, as well as excellent communication skills, are essential requirements for this position.,
