The Senior Design Lead, reporting directly to the Head of Creative, will spearhead creative development and execution across all customer touchpoints, with a primary focus on print and the ability to extend these concepts across various media. This role demands a seasoned professional adept in brand building and creative leadership, ideally within an advertising or design agency environment. While co-managing the design team and overseeing the direction of projects, this role also requires hands-on involvement in design ideation, leading from the front to ensure high-quality design solutions that align with the company's educational goals and branding strategies. Who You Are: Visionary Leader: Experienced in a leadership role within a design or advertising agency, you are capable of driving creative strategies and solutions in a dynamic environment. Brand Steward: With expert knowledge of brand consistency, you skillfully develop and maintain a comprehensive brand book, ensuring all creative outputs enhance the brand's image. Creative Innovator: Passionate about design and user experience, you lead creative interventions across various media, setting new standards of excellence. What You'll Be Doing: Creative Direction and Strategy: Lead the conceptualization and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns with a strong emphasis on print, ensuring creative treatments meet brand objectives and seamlessly extend across digital and video formats. Team Leadership and Development: Co-manage and mentor the design team alongside the Head of Design, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and high standards. Brand Management: Oversee the brand book, ensuring all creative work is consistent with brand guidelines and adapts to market trends. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align design strategies with business objectives and ensure impactful creative executions. Hands-On Design: Actively participate in and lead design ideation and creation, demonstrating expert design skills and a deep understanding of visual storytelling. What You Bring to the Team: Proven Experience: Over 10 years in design, with at least 5 years in a significant creative leadership role, preferably with an advertising background. Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, specializing in print design with the capability to adapt designs across digital and video media. Strategic Design Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate design thinking and present creative ideas effectively; adept at multitasking and working under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Brand and Creative Oversight: Develop and maintain global imaging and video style guides, approve creative content, and ensure brand consistency across all formats. Design Excellence: Maintain high standards for typography, color, and overall visual composition, particularly in print, while exploring innovative solutions for other media. Operational Efficiency: Organize and plan project details efficiently, maintain and organize files and project materials, ensuring seamless project continuity. Additional Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or a related field is required, along with a portfolio that demonstrates extensive expertise in graphic design and creative leadership. Proficiency in AI and other modern design tools is a plus.
