Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Technical Knowledge & Product Expertise

  • Understanding of construction chemical products such as admixtures, waterproofing chemicals, grouts, sealants, floor hardeners, bonding agents, curing compounds, repair mortars, and protective coatings.
  • Providing technical explanations, demonstrations, and product recommendations as per site requirements.
  • Staying updated with new products, application methods, and industry standards.

2. Site Execution & Application Support

  • Visiting construction sites to monitor product application and ensure correct usage.
  • Guiding contractors, applicators, and site engineers about proper mixing ratios, coverage area, curing time, and safety measures.
  • Troubleshooting on-site issues related to product performance.

3. Sales & Business Development

  • Generating sales by building relationships with builders, contractors, architects, consultants, applicators, and distributors.
  • Conducting product trials and site demos to promote product acceptance.
  • Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by the company.

4. Client Relationship Management

  • Addressing customer queries, complaints, and technical concerns.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and developing new accounts.
  • Ensuring timely delivery and coordination between supply chain and clients.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Preparing daily/weekly site reports, demo reports, and technical visit notes.
  • Maintaining records of product trials, customer feedback, and sales data.
  • Preparing BOQ (Bill of Quantity), estimations, rate analysis, and technical proposals.

6. Quality Control & Assurance

  • Ensuring products are applied as per manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
  • Conducting quality checks during and after application.
  • Coordinating with R&D or QC teams in case of product performance issues.

7. Training & Technical Presentations

  • Conducting training sessions for contractors, dealers, and internal sales teams.
  • Delivering technical presentations to consultants, architects, and project teams.
  • Supporting marketing team with technical content and product literature.
