Channel Recovery Executive (Agri Business)

Role & responsibilities

• Drive

  timely recovery of outstanding receivables

  from distributors, dealers, and channel partners as per agreed credit terms.
• Monitor

  daily ageing and overdue reports

  and take proactive recovery actions.
• Coordinate closely with

  Sales, Finance, and Distribution teams

  to ensure payment realization.
• Conduct

  frequent field visits

  for high-value, long-pending, or critical recovery cases.
• Ensure adherence to

  company credit policies

  , including credit limits and payment timelines.
• Support

  credit control activities

  such as payment blocking/unblocking recommendations.
• Handle

  payment disputes

  , short payments, and reconciliation issues in coordination with accounts.
• Maintain accurate

  documentation and recovery MIS

  for management review.
• Escalate

  chronic defaulters

  and support legal or management-led recovery actions when required.
• Contribute to

  DSO reduction and working capital improvement

  initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

Education

• Graduate in

  all backgrounds. LLB(preferred)

Experience

• 26 years

  of experience in

  recovery, credit control, or accounts receivable

• Experience in

  Crop Protection / Agri-inputs / FMCG / Distribution-led businesses

  preferred
• Exposure to

  dealerdistributor based business models

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of

  accounts receivable, credit control, and ageing analysis

• Good understanding of

  dealer credit cycles and trade terms

• Effective

  negotiation and follow-up skills

  with a firm yet professional approach
• Ability to coordinate with

  cross-functional stakeholders

  (Sales, Finance, Legal)
• Proficiency in

  Excel and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally)

• Willingness to travel for

  field-based recovery

  when required
