Job Objective

Maximize revenue by creating category-specific strategies, business plans, and innovative brand promotion solutions across Print, Digital, and Events/IPs. Drive client satisfaction and business growth through strategic account management and new business development.


Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement sales & category strategies to achieve revenue goals.

  • Analyze sales performance and optimize resource utilization.

  • Drive efficient category mix planning to maximize returns.

Client & Revenue Management

  • Deliver revenue in line with set targets and maintain market share across Print & Digital.

  • Provide customized brand promotion solutions, aligned with editorial guidelines.

  • Build and maintain strong client & agency relationships, ensuring full coverage within assigned categories.

  • Identify and convert new business opportunities through continuous market monitoring.

  • Present impactful client pitches and monetize special initiatives.

Team Leadership (if applicable)

  • Set annual targets, review performance, and build a high-performance culture.

  • Coach, train, and support team members to enhance digital skills and client servicing capabilities.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams (Editorial, Finance, Operations, IT, HR) for seamless execution.

  • Liaise with external stakeholders customers, agencies, vendors, and government bodies.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of revenue targets for assigned categories.

  • Market share growth in Print & Digital.

  • SFDC compliance and adherence to internal processes.

  • Client satisfaction and retention.

  • Team skill development & performance.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Postgraduate in Marketing (preferably from a premier institute).

  • 5+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role (media/brand promotions/account management).

  • Strong network of industry contacts with proven ability to drive sales and business growth.
