Description:

Installation Of Apache/DSE Cassandra DB on Bare Metal servers or cloud
Upgrade of existing Apache/DSE Cassandra DB to higher version.
Data Migration activities on Cassandra DB.
Debugging Issues and fixing on Cassandra DB with Application teams.
Capacity Planning.
Adding / Removing Cassandra nodes or the whole DC to existing DC.
Working on automating existing system monitoring/creating dashboard using Shell script, Python.
Working on Ansible, Dockers. Good understanding of ansible playbooks.
Setting Up OpsCenter.
Good understanding of certificates, how keystore/truststore works in DB.
Good exposures to authenticating Cassandra DB using JMX.
Good understanding of Heap, Garbage collection works in DB.
11) Working on Central station tickets and Radars assigned by different application teams.
Basic understanding of Elasticsearch, creating Elastic Search index, creating dashboard using index metrices.
Basic understanding of Solr/Spark, creating Solr indexes, Spark jobs .
2. Experience supporting Linux or cloud environments.
5. Strong Diagnostic, Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
8. Ability to work independently and with others to support local, regional and global teams.
9. Manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environments.
10. knowledge of Ticketing tool like remedy
11. Solid understandings of ITIL principles and SLAs.
12. On call support Rotation-wise.
