Roles and Responsibility

Guide students in determining their interests and abilities using various methods, including aptitude assessments and interviews.
Counsel individual learners to aid in developing both hard and soft skills.
Conduct group workshops on topics such as writing resumes, cover letters, and job interviewing.
Connect learners with additional resources like financial aid, vocational training, counseling, therapy services, medical care providers, and other state and local assistance as needed.
Plan and publicize career services center programs and events, including workshops, job fairs, and orientation sessions.
Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other student services divisions to achieve university-wide goals and contribute to long-range planning.
