Role Overview

As a Career Counsellor, you’ll be the bridge between aspiration and action. You'll guide students in identifying career paths aligned with their strengths and passions, facilitate workshops, and champion post-course placement support. Empathy, insight, and communication excellence are key.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 counselling sessions to help students identify academic and career goals
• Create and execute career development workshops and webinars
• Build personalized learning and career maps for enrolled students
• Outbound Calls: Reach out to leads generated through various channels (website inquiries,social media, etc.).
• Course Promotion: Explain our interior design programs, curriculum, faculty, and careerprospects
• Coordinate with faculty and placement teams for internship and job readiness
• Maintain records, feedback data, and progress reports for each student
• Support placement drives and collaborate with partner organizations
• Stay updated on design-industry trends and hiring pathways

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in any field, Education, Human Resources, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in counselling, career guidance, or student engagement
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills—both written and spoken
• Digital fluency: CRM tools, WhatsApp outreach, Canva/PPT for presentations
• Ability to balance empathy with outcome-driven action plans

Bonus Skills

• Prior experience in design education or creative industries
• Strong LinkedIn networking and employer outreach capability
• Experience crafting career content, assessment tools, or portfolios
