Job Title: IT Business Analyst – Credit Card Payments Domain

About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst with deep domain expertise in credit card payments and processing. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive at the intersection of business and technology, and who can drive digital transformation initiatives for leading global banks.As part of our Banking & Financial Services Consulting Practice, you will work closely with client stakeholders, technology teams, and third-party vendors to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performance solutions in the credit card ecosystem.ShapeKey ResponsibilitiesRequirement Gathering & AnalysisCollaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements for credit card processing systems.Translate business needs into detailed specifications including user stories, process flows, data models, and interface designs.Solution Design & DeliveryPartner with IT teams and vendors to design, develop, and implement solutions aligned with business goals and regulatory standards (e.g., PCI DSS, EMV).Support end-to-end project lifecycle including system integration, testing (QA/UAT), and deployment.Testing & Quality AssuranceDefine test scenarios, validate system behavior, and ensure defect resolution.Facilitate user acceptance testing and provide post-implementation support.Stakeholder ManagementAct as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, Amex).Ensure timely communication, issue resolution, and alignment across all stakeholders.Operational Support & Continuous ImprovementMonitor system performance, availability, and security.Recommend enhancements based on industry trends and evolving business needs.Shape

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the credit card payments domain.Strong understanding of card lifecycle management, transaction processing, and settlement systems.Hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, and data analysis tools.Familiarity with platforms and integrations involving Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or similar networks.Proven ability to work in Agile and Waterfall environments.Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.Shape
