Job Description

Driver Job Description We are looking for a responsible and safety-conscious driver to transport goods or passengers efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, strong navigational skills, and a commitment to excellent service. Key Responsibilities: Operate company vehicles to transport goods or passengers to designated locations. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals and deliveries. Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance. Load and unload cargo or assist passengers when needed. Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained. Maintain accurate records, such as logs, mileage, and delivery reports. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and report any issues or delays. Provide courteous and professional customer service. Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Proven safe driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws. Ability to read maps and use GPS/navigation systems. Physically capable of lifting and handling cargo. Good time management and organizational skills. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules. Preferred: Experience in a driving role. Commercial driver’s license (CDL) if applicable.
