Guest Service & Dining Experience

• Welcome guests, escort them to tables, and ensure a personalized dining experience.
• Present menus, explain specials, and assist guests with food and beverage selections.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain strong presence on the floor to oversee service quality.

Team Leadership

• Supervise waitstaff and assign tables to ensure smooth service operations.
• Conduct daily team briefings to communicate specials, events, and service standards.
• Train and support new service staff in upselling, table setup, and service sequence.
• Motivate the team to deliver efficient and courteous service at all times.

Order & Service Coordination

• Take and confirm accurate orders, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar.
• Monitor meal progress, ensuring timely service and correct sequence of courses.
• Assist staff in serving, clearing, and maintaining table hygiene when required.

Operational Responsibilities

• Ensure all service stations are fully stocked (cutlery, glassware, condiments, linens).
• Maintain adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards (HACCP).
• Perform opening and closing duties as per restaurant SOPs.
• Manage bookings, table arrangements, and special event requirements.

Sales & Revenue Enhancement

• Promote signature items, set menus, and upsell food and beverage pairings.
• Monitor guest feedback and suggest improvements to enhance revenue and customer loyalty.
• Track guest preferences for future personalization.

Cash & Billing Support

• Assist in billing accuracy and process payments when required.
• Review daily sales reports and handle voids/discounts as per authority.

Professional Communication

• Maintain effective communication between FOH (Front of House) and BOH (Back of House).
• Collaborate with management on operations, customer issues, and staff performance.
