Job Title: Canadian Tax Analyst

Experience Required: 4+ Years

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Canadian Tax Analyst to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Canadian tax regulations, compliance requirements, and tax reporting standards. This role involves working closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely tax filings and support audits and tax planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review Canadian federal and provincial tax returns (corporate and indirect taxes).
Ensure compliance with Canadian tax laws and regulations.
Assist in tax provision calculations and reporting under IFRS/GAAP.
Support tax audits and respond to inquiries from Canadian tax authorities.
Analyze tax data and provide insights to optimize tax positions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and external consultants.
Maintain documentation and records for tax filings and compliance.
Monitor changes in Canadian tax legislation and assess impact on business operations.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in Canadian tax compliance and reporting.
Strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws, including corporate income tax and indirect taxes (GST/HST, PST).
Experience with tax software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

CPA or equivalent professional certification (completed or in progress).
Experience working in a multinational or shared services environment.
Familiarity with transfer pricing and international tax concepts.
