Job Description of cafĂŠ manager
Key Responsibilities:
⢠Manage day-to-day cafÊ operations including opening and closing procedures
⢠Hire, train, and supervise baristas and wait staff
⢠Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staffing during peak hours
⢠Maintain high standards of food and beverage preparation and presentation
⢠Monitor inventory and place orders for supplies as needed
⢠Track daily, weekly, and monthly revenues and expenses
⢠Resolve customer complaints and ensure satisfaction
⢠Implement marketing strategies to boost footfall and customer loyalty
⢠Ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations
⢠Introduce seasonal menu items and respond to customer preferences
 Required Skills & Qualifications:
⢠Proven experience as a CafÊ Manager or in a similar hospitality role
⢠Strong leadership and team management skills
⢠Excellent communication and customer service abilities
⢠Hands-on experience with coffee machines and POS systems
⢠Good understanding of inventory and financial management
⢠High school diploma required; degree in Hospitality or Business is a plus
⢠Availability to work weekends and holidays
