Job Description of café manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day café operations including opening and closing procedures

• Hire, train, and supervise baristas and wait staff

• Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staffing during peak hours

• Maintain high standards of food and beverage preparation and presentation

• Monitor inventory and place orders for supplies as needed

• Track daily, weekly, and monthly revenues and expenses

• Resolve customer complaints and ensure satisfaction

• Implement marketing strategies to boost footfall and customer loyalty

• Ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations

• Introduce seasonal menu items and respond to customer preferences

 Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Café Manager or in a similar hospitality role

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities

• Hands-on experience with coffee machines and POS systems

• Good understanding of inventory and financial management

• High school diploma required; degree in Hospitality or Business is a plus

• Availability to work weekends and holidays
