Cafe Assistant

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Café Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and food preparation, and be committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality in our café.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve customers in a warm and professional manner
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee and tea
• Handle food preparation (e.g., sandwiches, snacks, bakery items,hot beverages)
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the café, including tables, counters, and equipment
• Restock supplies and display items as needed
• Follow food safety and health & safety guidelines
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a café or customer service role is an advantage but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for cash handling
• Flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Preferred Skills:

• Barista training or knowledge of coffee machines (preferred but not essential)
• Team player with the ability to multitask
• Good personal hygiene and grooming standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay
• Shift allowance

• Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
