Cook/Chef

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and reliable Cook/Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing a variety of dishes, ensuring quality, taste, and hygiene standards. You’ll play a key role in crafting meals that keep customers coming back.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
• Plan and execute daily food preparation and cooking activities
• Ensure food is cooked and presented in an appealing and timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food prep areas
• Manage inventory and notify when stock is low or expired
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines strictly
• Assist in developing or updating menu items if needed
• Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth operations
• Minimize food wastage and optimize ingredient usage

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a cook or chef (restaurant, café, or catering preferred)
• Ability to prepare a variety of dishes (snacks, meals, beverages, etc.)
• Strong understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Good communication and team collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

• Specialized knowledge in [Indian / South Indian / Street food / Bakery] cuisine
• Experience in food plating and presentation
• Ability to train junior kitchen staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay
