Key Responsibilities

Tax Compliances: Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all direct and indirect tax laws (Income Tax, GST, TDS, etc.).

Oversee tax planning, assessments, audits, and liaison with tax authorities.

Stay updated with changes in tax regulations affecting listed companies.

Internal Audit & Control:

Develop, implement, and monitor robust internal control systems in line with statutory requirements and corporate governance standards.

Conduct periodic internal audits to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with SEBI, Companies Act, and other applicable regulations for listed entities.

Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of accountants and finance executives.

Allocate work, monitor deliverables, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high ethical standards.

Financial Oversight:

Support statutory audits and coordinate with external auditors.

Collaborate with senior management on strategic financial decisions.

Contribute to preparation and review of monthy, quarterly and annual financial statements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5–10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a listed company. 

Strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, corporate laws, and financial reporting standards (Ind AS). Understanding of International Taxation laws, would be a plus. 

Proven experience in internal audit and internal controls design. 

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 

High attention to detail with a proactive problem-solving approach.
