This role is for one of Weekday's clientsJobType: full-time

Requirements

C++ Engineer Contractual Role :

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.We are seeking a Medical Device Software Engineer with C/C++ experience to join our team. As a member of our team, you will work in a fast-paced environment where your problem-solving skills will be put to the test. You'll use your expertise to develop software for medical devices, with a focus on navigation software for joint replacements in the knee/hip domain, and robotics. You'll need to be familiar with healthcare regulatory requirements and have experience in medical imaging.

Please note this is a contractual position (3-6 months) with us.

Strictly work from office opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement software for healthcare and medical devices using C/C++ to ensure optimal performance and safety
Sound working knowledge in data structures, algorithms, creating end-to-end applications with focus on performance is a must
Work with medical imaging systems to provide the best quality images for healthcare professionals
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements to meet safety and security standards
Work closely with other team members to solve complex problems related to software development for medical devices
Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) to ensure high-quality software

Requirements:

Relevant experience of at least 5+ years in C/C++, Qt, Python
Flair for solving complex problems because we're always innovating
Ability to work independently and in a team environment because we need someone who can take ownership of their work and collaborate with others
Strong communication skills because we value clear and effective communication

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Electronics and Communication or related field
