The Markets Operations COO Financial Management lead role is responsible for the overall planning, management and governance of the finances including resource allocation, productivity initiatives and realization of cost efficiencies. Reporting to the head of Markets Operations COO Business Execution, this role involves leading a team to successfully support and facilitate a global, complex Operations organisation.
Responsibilities
- Multi-year financial planning of expense lines including permanent and non-permanent employees, travel and expense, relocation and software.
- Ongoing management and analysis of the financial plan inline with execution of the organisational strategy.
- Complete, timely and accurate financial reporting to respective stakeholders and related query management.
- Facilitation of hiring initiatives inline with the financial plan alongside appropriate controls and a robust audit trail.
- Management of the calculation and logic justification of cost allocations with presentation to the respective receiving financial representatives.
- Implementation, analysis and monitoring of Operations transaction costing alongside input into cost reduction initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) financial management, Business Execution, Business Associate and reporting for a global organization
- Experienced people manager with demonstratable leadership skills.
- Ability to lead multi-year financial planning, management and reporting for a large and complex global organization.
- Clear and logical thinking, even in time-sensitive scenarios.
- Impactful written and verbal communicator to stakeholders across a range of functions and seniority.
- Ability to independently produce executive-grade financial reporting and presentation material.
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
