Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Administrator

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, maintain, and develop

    Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

    .
  • Provide end-user support and training on Dynamics 365 and related applications.
  • Collaborate with other Administrators, Business Analysts, SQL DBAs, and Software Developers to design and maintain custom ERP-related solutions.
  • Develop and maintain integrations using

    Power Automate, SmartConnect

    , and related tools.
  • Create and maintain financial and operational reports using

    Power BI

    and

    Popdock

    .
  • Support application enhancements and upgrades through proper change management.
  • Participate in system testing, documentation, and user acceptance activities.
  • Partner with business units to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Work with vendors on system optimization and upgrades.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, or related field—or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with

    Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

    ,

    Power BI

    , and system integrations.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in

    Dynamics 365 Business Central

    (administrator or power user level).
  • Knowledge of

    configuration packages, Power Automate

    , and

    eOne SmartConnect

    .
  • Understanding of

    extension management

    and

    Lanham Suite

    modules.
  • Experience with

    Solver Global, Cost Control, and Hougaard extensions

    .
  • Familiarity with

    Teams-based document management

    and

    use tax configuration

    .
  • Intermediate accounting knowledge and financial process understanding.
  • Strong skills in

    Microsoft Office Suite

    and

    VMware test environments

    .

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
