                                As an individual in Cross Disciplinary Controls, you will be responsible for various activities within the Controls capabilities. These activities include assessment & design, MCA, QA, Monitoring & Testing, Issue Management, and/or Governance Reporting & Analysis to ensure effective end-to-end oversight, design, implementation, and execution of controls. Your role may involve covering a broad range of in-business/function risk and control responsibilities rather than focusing on one specific role.  **Responsibilities:** - Manage large and potentially diverse teams of managers and/or senior professionals by providing leadership and direction through managers. - Create an innovative environment for diverse teams to encourage the development and implementation of robust control programs and strategies. - Make critical decisions guided by functional objectives. - Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes. - Drive and manage controls enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce risk. - Oversee the execution of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and ensure adherence with Risk Management/Compliance Policies. - Review the MCA program, including attestation, quality oversight, and related reporting. - Lead the assessment of activities and processes to strengthen risk management quality. - Manage issues with key stakeholders and drive issue quality reviews. - Develop standard and risk controls reporting for better management and decision-making. - Oversee the operations of governance committees, coordinate meetings, manage agendas, and ensure follow-up on action items. - Assess risk in business decisions with a focus on reputation, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. - Supervise team activities and create accountability for maintaining standards.  **Qualifications:** - 15+ years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions in the financial services industry. - Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls. - Demonstrate sound business judgment and attention to critical details. - Develop and implement strategy and process improvement initiatives. - In-depth understanding of Citis businesses, functions, and their risk profiles. - Ability to provide challenge and recommendations for risk and controls remediation. - Excellent knowledge in the development and execution of controls. - Proven experience in control-related functions and implementing sustainable solutions. - Deep understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices. - Exceptional leadership, decision-making, problem-solving skills. - Strong analytical skills for evaluating complex risk and control activities. - Ability to deliver compelling presentations and influence executive audiences. - Sense of accountability, ownership, with strong results orientation. - Excellent communication skills to engage and inspire across stakeholder groups. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.  **Education:** - Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred  Please note that the job is categorized under the Controls Governance & Oversight job family and specifically falls under the Cross-disciplinary Controls job family.
