Business Relationship Manager

Job Purpose

The Business Relationships Manager is accountable for building and developing high impact relationships with universities and learning providers leading to strong recruitment, progression, retention and education outcomes in line with ACCAs growth and brand objectives.

The role may work alone or as part of a team of Business Relationship Managers focusing on the development and delivery of business plans for education partnerships within a portfolio, cluster or market.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning

• Contributes to the development of engagement plans for education partnerships in order to deliver agreed KPIs and outcomes
• Identifies and progresses opportunities to grow ACCAs business through education partnerships ensuring a clear and mutually beneficial proposition
• Using agreed criteria, identifies and proposes target universities and/or learning providers based on an understanding of potential contribution
• Works with relevant internal stakeholders to develop and deliver a plan of business development activity for designated education partners
• Holds high quality conversations with partners to understand their business needs and match them to ACCA's products and services

Engagement

• Develops and manages strong relationships with education partners in order to build ACCAs ecosystem and to deliver agreed KPIs and outcomes
• Plans and actively manages multi-level relationships to grow and develop learning partners/ universities, understanding their business requirements and providing support, solutions and services to meet them.
• Works with partners to ensure that global solutions, content and expertise are leveraged and consistently implemented
• Promotes the ACCA qualification, products and services to partners, encouraging take-up through presentations and other activities

• Works with education partners to ensure readiness for changes to the ACCA qualification and other products and services
• Supports education partners with ACCA processes including accreditation in order to develop engagement and improve performance
• Participate in the co-ordination and management of partner events in order to build ACCA's reputation and influence in the market
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, marketing activity and services that will support the achievement of ACCA's growth aspirations in India
• Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify opportunities to further develop ACCA's proposition and offering within the region
• Support students at learning partners/ universities/ employers with registrations, counselling and guidance on ACCA processes and access in India
• Maintain accurate records and report regularly on progress through agreed reporting mechanisms.

Other

• Understands economic and market trends, education sector developments, competitor activities and ACCA’s product and service offering
• Reports regularly on progress through the appropriate reporting mechanisms
• Actively supports the wider work of the local market and contributes to the improvement of local procedures and systems
