Liaisoning Officer – Infrastructure Projects

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and well-connected Liaisoning Officer to act as the bridge between our company and various government departments, public sector bodies, and regulatory authorities. The role demands strong networking skills, an understanding of infrastructure projects (railways, CPWD, EPC, item-rate contracts), and the ability to ensure smooth clearances, approvals, and communication across stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with Railways, CPWD, state government departments, PSUs, and local authorities.

• Handle all statutory approvals, permits, licenses, and compliance-related requirements.

• Act as the company’s representative in meetings with government officials, consultants, and contractors.

• Track tenders, contracts, and project approvals; support the management team in pre-bid and post-bid processes.

• Coordinate with internal teams (PMC, finance, legal) to ensure timely submission of documents and applications.

• Monitor regulatory changes and provide updates to management on policies impacting infrastructure projects.

• Support in resolving operational bottlenecks by engaging with relevant authorities.

Key Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline (Engineering / Law / Public Administration preferred).

• 5+ years of experience in liaisoning / government relations / contract management (infrastructure sector preferred).

• Strong network with Railway departments, CPWD, and state infra bodies.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and integrity.

• Flexibility to travel as required across project sites and government offices.
