Job Description

Senior Analyst Analytics / Finance

This position is critical to understanding brand business performance in order to help

develop strategies and recommendations to inform future brand direction. The expectation

is that this individual will report on information critical to business insights and

decision-making. The Analyst on the International Finance team will be a key resource for

the brand in answering business questions efficiently and effectively for all

cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Insight Generation – Generate insights that improve the business through linking

various data sources (e.g., sales, competitor, market, customer, etc.).

  • Business Analysis – Analyze brand performance and sales trends, including

promotional and test analyses, as well as Loyalty program results measurement

around performance, profitability of offers, and menu pricing. Provide marketing and

operational analytics, reporting and menu management support, including routine and

ad hoc reports by brand, region or market

  • KPI Reporting – Create and maintain reports that assess ongoing business

performance, leading indicators, and explanatory factors

  • Ad Hoc Reporting – Develop, execute and deliver reports based on brand business

requirements for various stakeholders across the organization

  • Brand Performance – Analyze and monitor key metrics across brand health, product

performance, guest experience, and digital and transaction level data from the

international data warehouse to assist in analyzing, understanding, and recapping the

impact of overall business performance and/or promotional marketing programs.

  • PLU Maintenance – Create and maintain PLU structure for all brands and markets,

including setup of markets and ongoing maintenance (products added/removed)

  • Strategy Consulting – Provide guidance and strategic recommendations on

promotional marketing initiatives across all levels of the organization, utilizing both

quantitative and qualitative measures; present strategic recommendations based on

sound financial analysis to large and small audiences across all levels of the

organization

  • Relationship Management – Develop and maintain strong relationships with key

stakeholders and partners while collaborating effectively across the organization to

achieve objectives. Collaborate with Inspire IT team and International digital vendor on

restaurant transaction level data POS mapping (Extract, Translate, Load) and data

normalization

  • Project Management – Ensure that all medium/long term projects are implemented on

time and achieve business goals and objectives

Education Qualification:

Required Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Business Management, Data &

Analytics, Marketing, Finance, or other relevant discipline)

Required Minimum: 4 - 6 years relevant experience in relevant field or master’s degree

preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills or Abilities:

  • Results driven with the ability to perform successfully with limited supervision
  • Skilled in delivering data-driven business recommendations
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to research, reconcile, and

arrive at conclusions

  • Time management skills in order to prioritize and manage deadlines
  • Comfort working in the fast-paced QSR segment with the ability to turn around

deliverables for senior management with short timeframes

  • Proactive, team player with ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and effective collaborator committed to

getting the job done

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with expertise in Excel (e.g., pivot tables,

advanced functions, formulas, filtering, etc.), and Power BI

  • Relational database proficiency with SQL experience
